Week 1
Florala and Georgiana could likely be
playing for a spot in the AHSAA Playoffs although only in week two of
the schedule and the first region contest. Every game below
Brantley and McKenzie and now maybe Pleasant Home will be considered a
must win for teams looking for a playoff birth.
Florala has played well in
the past two weeks (including jamboree) - but needs to limit
their mistakes that have proved costly. Georgiana
(formerly Butler County Magnet) moves to 1A region 2 and will
bring in speed and talent. Florala needs to control the
line of scrimmage and their defense needs to continue solid play.
