Latest Volleyball Poll

Class 6A top-ranked Huntsville won the 26th annual Sherry Ammons Invitational Iron Man Tournament over the weekend to solidify its spot in this week's Birmingham News high school volleyball poll.

The Panthers beat second-ranked McGill-Toolen in the final to capture their second straight Ironman tournament title. Huntsville also won the season-opening Juanita Boddie Tournament at Hewitt-Trussville.

There were no changes among the top-ranked teams in the poll. Along with Class 6A Huntsville, Class 5A St. Paul's, Class 4A Guntersville, Class 3A Bayside Academy, Class 2A Lexington, Class 1A Addison and AISA Morgan Academy all retained the top spot
