Enterprise lost a shoot-out with #5 Auburn,
44-57 and Stanhope Elmore lost to Carver-Montgomery (10-35) a week
after shocking #8 Prattville in an upset. Hoover continues
their walk through the ranks with a 60-0 win over Oak Mountain.
The #1 ranked bucks have yet to be scored on this season.
Decatur continues to move in program23.com's poll outscoring
opponents 112-35.

McAdory and St. Paul's appear to be headed for
a playoff showdown. St. Paul's jumps five spots to #3 after
three strong showings and an average score of 43-8. Demopolis (defending champion)
continues their surge after an early loss and is 2-0 in region play.
Eufaula, much like their region foe Demopolis, lost their season
opener, but are 2-0 in region 3.

CLASS 4A
Region 1 and Region 2 have two showdown battles forth coming as #1
and #4 face off in Week 7 and #2 vs. #3 occurs during week 9.
North Jackson appears to be the leader from the North after wins
over Madison Academy and Douglas (combined 91-13).
However, St. Clair County has outscored opponents 119-30 and leads
region 6 along with Anniston (2-1; 2-0)
UMS-Wright is the #1 ranked power team in 4A although a season one
loss Knocked the Mobile school down the rankings. 4A region 1
could be set for the playoffs with Jackson, Thomasville and
UMS-Wright in the top 3 spots. Regardless of where they finish
- it will likely be a quarterfinal bonanzas for 4A R1 - Although
region 2 has Straughn, Andalusia and Ashford.

#1 Leeds defeated #5 Clay Co in Overtime 3-0 and still has #4
Handley on the schedule. Trinity and Saks lost this week as
they were ranked #7, #9 respectively in the ASWA statewide poll.
Trinity drops from #6, but Saks did not appeared in the
program23.com poll. Bayside Academy jumped five spots after
their 50-0 win over Montgomery Academy pushing the Admirals higher
than the private school has ever been. Last week was the
schools first ever ranking in the Top 10. Pike County and
Abbeville are headed for a meeting with Luverne gathering
themselves.
