Two teams on opposites of a
mirror will compete Friday Night headed in different directions.
The Hornets will travel from Union Springs hoping to spoil the
Tigers 2010 Homecoming festivities and their 5-0 start and

rankings.
The closed shared opponent is
3A region 2 Daleville and Opp. The Bobcats defeated Daleville
2-21 earlier in the season. Daleville defeated Bullock and
Straughn won over Opp last Friday.
"We will have to keep focused
and not distracted with Homecoming [going on]," said Coach Trent
Taylor of the Tigers. The coach, working on his 21st
season at Straughn, was standing in the middle of his home field
with few remaining after Friday's victory, but had already
turned his focus from their 42-25 win to the second half of the
season and Bullock County.
The Hornets are 0-5, while
Straughn is 5-0 in 4A region 2. The Tigers are tied with
Ashford and Andalusia for first place in the region and the
playoff picture could be decided as early as next week when
Andalusia faces Straughn.
A concern for Taylor who has
three distractions heading into Friday Night.
Those three alone are enough
to distract any player's concentration and Coach Taylor and his
staff will have their work cut out for them.
